Really good. Bulgogi dinner tonight...excellent. my goto roll is the sensual pleaser. Didn't hav it tonight but highly recommend. This place is often busy and I would encourage you to call for reservations. Great food and service.
Very good food and service. We tried the Bulogi bowl and Chicken bowl. Along with California Roll. All was great and enjoyed. Looks pretty new, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. Not busy on a Thursday evening- early. A bit pricey, but not overly for good sushi!
Go here as soon as you can! The sushi is amazing, the owners are just wonderful and it's really a little gem on Tehachapi! Stopped here from out of town as we love to try new sushi places, and this hit every single expectation I have in sushi. Not fishy in anyway, super creamy fresh fish, the ultimate best combinations of sauces on rolls, and sashimi is thick cut! Each rolls is the most wonderful new creation of the Chefs and blew my mind each time I tried a new one! We will 1000% be back and make the drive for Midori's sushi! Also just a note on how awesome the owners are we drove around an hour and the wife made sure to give us a bag of us for our To-go to keep the sushi fresh! Places like this just don't exist anymore, Thank you for going the extra mile for our family!!
This place was great. We are from Bakersfield and love the city of Tehachapi for weekend get aways.This restaurant just gave us one more thing to love about Tehachapi. Super sweet and friendly, made us feel like family and some of the best tasting sushi we've had and the pricing was way better than any we have paid for in Bakersfield with better service and food quality along with taste.
We happened upon Madori Sushi as it was across the parking lot from SureStay hotel where we stayed. What a great find. The Salmon Teryaki with it's crispy skin was delicious. That and at Ahi Poki, etamami sides with hot saki complemented the meal. Friendly service, clean restaurant.
Incredible atmosphere, service, and food. Don't really eat Sushi often, and they went out of the way to make sure I would get something I would be happy with. Chef made sure we were very happy with the presentation and quality of our food, talked with us, and made us feel very at home. Did not want to leave. A but on the pricey side, but for the quality, location, views, and service received, you'll find your money being well spent.
The BEST sushi restaurant in Tehachapi. Everything is amazing. The salmon tastes great. Tried the deep fried cheese cake, that was also really good. Would definitely recommend coming here. First picture is Miss Cracker. Second picture is Caviar Lover. Third is Salmon Lover.
This place has became one of my favorite spots in town! I’ve tried them all and this has the ambiance, friendly staff, and most importantly, amazing sushi! The owners makes a point to visit with the tables and make sure that you’re completely satisfied with what you ordered. I’m very picky with my fish and these guys nailed it! Highly recommended
